HIGH-TECH DIC STRAIN ANALYSIS AND OPTICAL EXTENSOMETRY

PETR GAJDOS
CEO & Head of Applications
Petr has been involved in the development of video extensometers since 2011, and he has also worked as a designer and developer of DIC systems. After obtaining his master’s degree in vibrodiagnostics, he focused on measuring dynamic phenomena and vibrations. In 2018, he collaborated with Jan Cepela to design the ONE video extensometer for industrial use. Since then, he has served as the primary application expert, advancing the use of DIC methods in numerous industrial, engineering, and R&D applications worldwide. In his role as CEO, he is driving X-Sight’s global expansion and continues to provide expert support to many customers, addressing critical applications.
JAN CEPELA
CTO
Jan acquired his master’s degree in software engineering with a specialization in signal processing at Brno University of Technology in 2004. Since 2009, he has been involved in the specific area of engineering software development for optical measurements in the fields of mechanical testing, testing, and quality control. He is the main author of several software programs for deformation, motion, and shape analysis. He is an experienced software analyst, designer, leader, and mentor of a team of software developers. Since 2020, Jan has been a software development manager, where he collaborates with a team of application engineers and businesspeople to develop commercial applications of video extensometers and DIC solutions.
MICHAL VAJDAK
CCO, R&D Manager
Michal has been involved in product development and DIC technologies since 2007. Together with Jan Cepela, he created the first commercially focused industrial DIC system, ADICT, in 2009, designed for quality control of fuel sensors. Additionally, since 2010, Michal has engaged in program management, business growth, and leadership roles within companies focusing on in-house research and the development of Czech products.
In 2020 he joined X-Sight as an Innovation Manager and today, he is also responsible for global business development as CCO.
